Terms of use

Acceptance
These terms apply to anyone who uses the website luzdiaria.app and the app installed from it. By using them, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site belongs to Pitaya Comunicação Ltda. (CNPJ 30.322.985/0001-32), referred to in these terms as "we".
What Luz Diária offers
Prayers, psalms and devotionals in six languages, free of charge and with no sign-up. The supporting texts and illustrations are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and reviewed by a person before publication, as explained on the page "How we use artificial intelligence".
Spiritual content, not professional advice
The content is devotional. It does not replace medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, nor the guidance of your faith community. No prayer is a promise of results. In a crisis, reach out to a professional or an emergency service.
Care with the text
We review every page, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, write to hello@luzdiaria.app and we will fix it. Traditional prayers follow the liturgical wording of each language, and Bible quotations come from public-domain translations, named on the page.
How you may use the content
Traditional prayers and public-domain Bible texts are free to use. The supporting texts, illustrations, the selection and arrangement of the content, the design and the Luz Diária name belong to the project, to the extent the law protects them.
You may read, pray, print for personal or non-profit community use, share links and quote short excerpts with credit and a link to the page. Without written permission, you may not republish whole pages, sell the content, compile it into another product or collect it in bulk by automated means, including to train artificial intelligence models.
Prohibited use
Do not use the site for unlawful purposes, do not try to break into or overload it, do not present the content as your own, and do not suggest that Luz Diária endorses something it does not.
Availability
The site is free and provided as is. We may change, suspend or remove pages and features at any time, and we do not guarantee it will always be online. Offline, the app shows the last saved copy of each page, which may be out of date.
Limits of our responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the content, for downtime, or for the content of third-party sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits the rights guaranteed to you by the consumer protection law of your country.
Paid services
Today, everything on Luz Diária is free. If a subscription is offered in the future, its price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms, including any right of withdrawal, will be shown before you sign up.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and important changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you live in another country, you keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Before any dispute, please write to hello@luzdiaria.app: we would rather sort things out by talking.
